We have An Important message for parents!

IEP season is upon us. 

The PAC leaders have met with Dr. Mulqueen, Worcester Schools Chief Academic Officer and we understand that that he would like to help parents and schools work more closely together in partnership to support students.

Our message to you is this:  If during an IEP meeting you reach an ongoing impasse or barrier to meeting your child’s educational needs (either with the process or with the customer service of a team member), Dr. Jeffrey Mulqueen would like to hear from you via email <mailto:mulqueenj@worc.k12.ma.us>

Please keep the email very short and include a bulleted or numbered 2 or 3 line explanation of the problem.  We ask you to refrain from paragraphs or pages of explanation as Jeff is already very busy but does want to be alerted to ongoing barriers.

Please share your good news!

The PAC would also like to encourage parents/caregivers to send news of successes and things you like about your child’s education, programs, school and teachers.  The administration usually is notified when problems happen but rarely hear of our children’s successes.  <mailto:mulqueenj@worc.k12.ma.us>
